If you prioritize having more memory, which can help with multitasking and more demanding tasks, the HP 250 G10 may serve you better as it has more memory compared to the HP 15" Laptop. However, the HP 15" Laptop features a higher-resolution display, which might be preferred for clearer visuals and better overall viewing experience. The HP 15" also has slightly better integrated graphics, which can be important if you plan to do tasks that benefit from graphical performance, such as photo editing or watching high-resolution videos. The HP 250 G10, on the other hand, has a more modest display and graphics but comes with a slightly lower weight, which could be a factor if portability is a concern. Both laptops are similarly priced, so your choice should be guided by the aspects of performance and features that matter most to you in your daily use. Give Feedback

The HP 15" Laptop has a better screen than the HP 250 G10 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
The HP 15" Laptop offers a balance with decent resolution and brightness suitable for everyday tasks, but it lacks the wide color gamut necessary for precise engineering and design work, and its lower refresh rate reduces the smoothness and responsiveness for 3D gaming. The HP 250 G10's screen quality is less adequate for general use due to its lower resolution and brightness, which results in a less crisp and vibrant display, and it's not suitable for color-critical engineering tasks or gaming because it shares the same limitations in color range and refresh rate. In essence, while both laptops may suffice for basic tasks, neither is ideal for specialized activities such as professional design or high-performance gaming due to their screen limitations in color accuracy and smoothness of motion.

The HP 15" Laptop and HP 250 G10 are both only fair for general use.
The HP 15" Laptop offers a fair experience for general use due to its adequate CPU and RAM, good screen resolution with an IPS panel for better viewing angles, and reasonable portability with a moderate weight. Meanwhile, the HP 250 G10 also provides a fair general use experience with a less powerful CPU but double the RAM, which compensates to some extent, although it is held back by a lower resolution TN screen, which is less sharp and offers poorer viewing angles, but benefits from slightly better portability due to its lighter weight.

The HP 15" Laptop and HP 250 G10 are both poor for gaming and AI.
The HP 15" Laptop is better suited for gaming and 3D applications due to the inclusion of an IPS screen which generally provides better color and viewing angles compared to the TN screen found in the HP 250 G10, despite both laptops having similar GPUs that are not designed for high-end gaming. The HP 15" also has a more capable CPU, which slightly improves performance in these areas, though neither laptop is equipped with dedicated gaming hardware.

Although they have very similar scores, PerfectRec considers HP 15" Laptop to be only fair for engineering and design, while the HP 250 G10 is poor.
The HP 15" Laptop is better suited for engineering and design due to its superior integrated graphics (Intel i3-1215U UHD Graphics) and IPS screen which offers better color accuracy and viewing angles than the HP 250 G10, which has less capable graphics (Intel UHD Graphics) and a TN panel known for lower color fidelity and viewing angles. The HP 250 G10, although it has more RAM which benefits multitasking, falls short primarily due to its insufficient GPU and inferior screen quality.

How the HP 15" Laptop and the HP 250 G10 compare to other laptops
"Chances are high that the HP 15 is one of the first laptops to pop up when you search for an inexpensive notebook. Indeed, its price tag is very tempting for many, and of course, this is the reason for its popularity. However, the HP 15" suffers from poor performance due to low power consumption. On the bright side, one of the good things about it is the port selection. On the inside, this includes two SODIMM slots for memory, an M.2 PCIe x4 slot for storage, and a SATA drive bay. However, the TN panel, and mediocre input devices are not ideal."
"The HP 250 G10 is a decent budget device that surprises us with its high CPU frequencies under load. Still, our configuration has a Core i5-1335U which doesn’t require significant cooling, if choose a 28W P-series processor, maybe the situation with the clocks could be different. If you want to play some casual game after work, a memory in dual-channel is a must because it increases greatly the iGPU performance."
