The Gigabyte Aorus 17H is a premium, high-performance laptop suitable for intensive gaming with a larger screen and higher refresh rate, making it great for fast-paced games and demanding software tasks. It's also heavier and larger, which reduces portability. The Lenovo LOQ 16, on the other hand, is more affordable and lighter, with a slightly smaller screen size and higher resolution but a lower refresh rate, making it less suited for intense gaming but potentially better for everyday use and carrying around. When choosing a laptop for general use, the Gigabyte Aorus 17H offers a high-resolution, bright display with a panel type that renders sharp and vibrant images, making it very suitable. For engineering and design, both the Gigabyte Aorus 17H and Lenovo LOQ 16 provide displays with a broad color spectrum, which ensures accurate color representation crucial for these tasks. How the Gigabyte Aorus 17H and the Lenovo LOQ 16 compare to other laptops
"Overall though, it’s *lots of swearing* fast, seriously. For work, rendering, gaming, it doesn’t matter, this is a true weapon of performance that’s going to run rings around most high-end desktop systems. If you absolutely have to game at ultra-high refresh rates on the go (but within thinking distance of a plug socket), this is the ticket. I can’t see such an extreme being that appealing to everyone, but if you take your gaming seriously, or even professionally, there’s nothing else out there that comes close that you can still fit in your backpack and travel with."
"Gaming laptops with an RTX 4060 are available starting from about 1,000 Euros (~$1,060), even in 16-inch format. For the supposedly affordable Lenovo LOQ 16 (1,500 Euros, ~$1,591), the manufacturer particularly saves in the equipment and materials compared to the more expensive Legion series. In addition, the LOQ is slightly heavier and more bulky. What remains is anything but a laptop full of difficult compromises. Instead, this is a more than solid gaming laptop that focusses on the 3D performance.Q is slightly heavier and more bulky."
