The Gigabyte Aorus 17H comes at a premium price, offering a powerful Intel i7 processor and Nvidia RTX 4080 graphics, ideal for intensive gaming, 3D work, and machine learning tasks. It has a larger 17.3-inch screen but is heavier and less portable. On the other hand, the Lenovo Legion Slim 7 is more affordable with an AMD Ryzen 7 processor and Nvidia RTX 3060 graphics, which are well-suited for general use and moderate gaming. It's lighter and more portable with a 15.6-inch screen, making it a better option for on-the-go use or if you have a tight budget. Give Feedback

The Gigabyte Aorus 17H is very good for engineering and design, while the Lenovo Legion Slim 7 15.6" is good.
The Gigabyte Aorus 17H stands out for engineering and design due to its powerful Intel i7 processor, RTX 4080 GPU, and larger, high-refresh rate screen, which are very important for such tasks, although it's less portable and has louder operating noise. In comparison, the Lenovo Legion Slim 7 15.6" has a solid AMD Ryzen 7 CPU and RTX 3060 GPU suitable for engineering, its more compact form and lower weight improve portability, but it falls short in raw performance for demanding design applications.

The Gigabyte Aorus 17H has a better screen than the Lenovo Legion Slim 7 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, and content creation.
If you prioritize a vivid and accurate display for tasks like document editing, web browsing, and video streaming, both the Gigabyte Aorus 17H and Lenovo Legion Slim 7 offer good quality with their resolution and brightness levels. For engineering and design work where color precision is crucial, these laptops' adherence to professional color standards ensures that your designs will look consistent and true to life. However, for gaming and 3D where fluid motion is key, the lower refresh rates on these laptops mean less smooth visuals, which may detract from the immersive experience fast-paced games and real-time 3D applications can offer.

How the Gigabyte Aorus 17H and the Lenovo Legion Slim 7 15.6" compare to other laptops
"Overall though, it’s *lots of swearing* fast, seriously. For work, rendering, gaming, it doesn’t matter, this is a true weapon of performance that’s going to run rings around most high-end desktop systems. If you absolutely have to game at ultra-high refresh rates on the go (but within thinking distance of a plug socket), this is the ticket. I can’t see such an extreme being that appealing to everyone, but if you take your gaming seriously, or even professionally, there’s nothing else out there that comes close that you can still fit in your backpack and travel with."
"The Lenovo Legion Slim 7 is a slim Legion notebook that is just as excellent with Nvidia & Intel. However, the Legion Slim 7i slightly sullied by lacklustre battery life. You get a slim aluminium chassis, great input devices, decent port selection, fast high-quality WQXGA display and great performance. Supporting Thunderbolt 4 is one advantage of the Intel/Nvidia model tested in this review. Moreover, this variant has slightly higher CPU performance as well as better GPU performance in certain applications (e.g. CUDA-based apps). The Lenovo Legion S7i is thin, premium and performant – but less efficient than its AMD counterpart."
