If top-tier gaming or resource-intensive tasks like 3D rendering or machine learning are your priority, the Gigabyte Aorus 17H offers a powerful dedicated GPU and a high-performance processor, but this comes with a higher price and reduced portability due to its larger size and shorter battery life. On the other hand, the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7i is more budget-friendly, with adequate performance for general use and better portability thanks to its lighter weight and longer battery life, but it may not handle demanding tasks as well due to its integrated graphics and less powerful processor. Each option has a great keyboard and high-quality display, with the Aorus leaning towards gaming and the Slim 7i towards general business use. Give Feedback

The Gigabyte Aorus 17H has a better screen than the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7i for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, and content creation.
For general use, both the Gigabyte Aorus 17H and the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7i offer screens with sufficient resolution and brightness, providing clear and vibrant visuals for everyday tasks such as browsing and video streaming. When it comes to engineering and design, both laptops have screens that cover a wider range of colors, ensuring accuracy which is crucial for tasks requiring color precision like photo editing and graphic design. However, for gaming and 3D applications, the lower refresh rates on these laptops' screens may result in less smooth visuals, which can be a drawback for fast-paced games or rendering that relies on quick screen updates.

How the Gigabyte Aorus 17H and the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7i compare to other laptops
"Overall though, it’s *lots of swearing* fast, seriously. For work, rendering, gaming, it doesn’t matter, this is a true weapon of performance that’s going to run rings around most high-end desktop systems. If you absolutely have to game at ultra-high refresh rates on the go (but within thinking distance of a plug socket), this is the ticket. I can’t see such an extreme being that appealing to everyone, but if you take your gaming seriously, or even professionally, there’s nothing else out there that comes close that you can still fit in your backpack and travel with."
"Among Lenovo's multiple laptop brands, the IdeaPad family is decidedly the one designed for consumers: people who want decent performance at a reasonable price. Consider, then, this laptop a paragon for the pickier members of that crowd. With a 14-inch touch-enabled display, a comfortable keyboard, an Evo-certified Intel Core i7 11th Generation CPU, and the latest Windows 11 operating system, the IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro ultraportable ($1,199 as tested) is a slick mainstream machine at a bit of a premium price, and quite capable for everyday tasks."
