The Gigabyte Aorus 17G is a high-performance laptop typically suitable for gaming, 3D rendering, or engineering software; its higher cost reflects stronger processing power, superior graphics, and a robust build, but it's less portable given its size and weight. In contrast, the Packard Bell Cloudbook 14" is more budget-friendly and lightweight, making it ideal for general use like web browsing, document editing, and light media consumption, but it won't handle intensive tasks well due to lesser power and lower-end graphics capabilities. Consider your primary activities on the laptop to choose; if they are performance-intensive or require high graphics fidelity, the Aorus 17G justifies the higher price. If you prioritize portability and basic tasks without the need for high performance, the Cloudbook will save you money while covering your needs. Give Feedback

NotebookCheck

Sascha Mölck | June 2021
"The Aorus 17G isn't among the top RTX 3080 laptops due to its relatively low TGP of 105 watts. The device's gaming performance is average for an RTX 3080. For maximum performance, competitors like the Lenovo Legion 7 or the Alienware m17 R4 are recommended With the Aorus 17G, Gigabyte delivers a well-rounded gaming laptop. However, the device generates a high noise level. Throttling is not an issue. The CPU and GPU can develop their performance uniformly. Nevertheless, the device produces a lot of noise under load - more than many competitors."
