If you need high-performance hardware for intensive engineering tasks, the Gigabyte Aorus 17G with a powerful processor and high-end graphics is well-suited but is heavier and less portable. However, if affordability and a balance between performance and portability are more important, the MSI Cyborg 15 offers a newer processor and is lighter, making it easier to carry around, but it has less memory which could limit performance in demanding applications. Both laptops have ample storage and good quality screens, but the Gigabyte has a more vibrant color display and a faster refresh rate, which are preferable for gaming and multimedia. Give Feedback

The Gigabyte Aorus 17G has a better screen than the MSI Cyborg 15 for general use, gaming and AI, and engineering and design.
The Gigabyte Aorus 17G offers a display with high resolution and brightness, making it well-suited for general use and engineering design tasks that benefit from clear, vibrant visuals with accurate colors. However, its lower refresh rate makes it less ideal for gaming and 3D applications where smoother motion presentation is crucial. In contrast, the MSI Cyborg 15 provides acceptable resolution and brightness for everyday and professional work, but like the Aorus 17G, it falls short for gaming and 3D due to a refresh rate that doesn't cater to the high frame rates preferred in those areas.

How the Gigabyte Aorus 17G and the MSI Cyborg 15 compare to other laptops
"The Aorus 17G isn't among the top RTX 3080 laptops due to its relatively low TGP of 105 watts. The device's gaming performance is average for an RTX 3080. For maximum performance, competitors like the Lenovo Legion 7 or the Alienware m17 R4 are recommended With the Aorus 17G, Gigabyte delivers a well-rounded gaming laptop. However, the device generates a high noise level. Throttling is not an issue. The CPU and GPU can develop their performance uniformly. Nevertheless, the device produces a lot of noise under load - more than many competitors."
"The focus of the MSI Cyborg 15 lies on a compromise of performance, mobility, and power consumption. Due to the reduced performance settings, the CPU and GPU perform below their capabilities. Nonetheless, their computing power is still sufficient for FHD gaming at high to maximum settings even then. The power consumption, which is low for a gaming laptop, can be translated into a good battery life. Realistic values of 7 to 8 h are still possible, despite the relatively small battery capacity of 53.5 Wh. Unfortunately the USB-C port doesn't offer any support for Power Delivery, which would be a sensible feature in the case of the Cyborg."
