The Gigabyte Aorus 17G offers high performance suitable for demanding tasks like gaming and 3D modeling, but this comes at the cost of portability and likely shorter battery life compared to the HP Spectre x360 14, which is lighter, has a flexible 2-in-1 design that's great for general use, and offers longer battery life for on-the-go users. If your budget is tight and your needs are centered around everyday productivity and versatility, the HP Spectre x360 14 may be a more appropriate choice; however, if performance is a priority and you need a machine capable of handling heavy workloads, the Gigabyte Aorus 17G is a strong option. NotebookCheck

Sascha Mölck | June 2021
"The Aorus 17G isn't among the top RTX 3080 laptops due to its relatively low TGP of 105 watts. The device's gaming performance is average for an RTX 3080. For maximum performance, competitors like the Lenovo Legion 7 or the Alienware m17 R4 are recommended With the Aorus 17G, Gigabyte delivers a well-rounded gaming laptop. However, the device generates a high noise level. Throttling is not an issue. The CPU and GPU can develop their performance uniformly. Nevertheless, the device produces a lot of noise under load - more than many competitors."

Rami Tabari | February 2024
"The numbers don’t lie — the HP Spectre x360 14 (2024) is a star, and a hell of a one at that. From performance to battery life, this machine is a dream. But why didn’t I give it a perfect score? Well, I wish the display performed better and that there were more ports to go around. If you’re itching for someone a little cheaper that offers a brighter display and significantly more battery life, I can only recommend the MacBook Pro 14 as a suitable substitute. Otherwise, the HP Spectre x360 14 (2024) is the perfect choice for those who want a reliable premium laptop."
