If you prioritize performance for intensive tasks like gaming, engineering, or 3D work, and you're ready to invest more, the Gigabyte Aorus 17G with its powerful processor and high-end graphics is a strong choice despite being heavier and less portable. However, if your main goal is general use and you're seeking a more budget-friendly option, the HP 250 G10 offers adequate capabilities for basic tasks with lower performance and a more portable design, though you’ll compromise on screen quality and processing power. The HP also runs on the newer Windows 11 Home, while the Gigabyte comes with Windows 10 Home. Give Feedback

NotebookCheck

Sascha Mölck | June 2021
"The Aorus 17G isn't among the top RTX 3080 laptops due to its relatively low TGP of 105 watts. The device's gaming performance is average for an RTX 3080. For maximum performance, competitors like the Lenovo Legion 7 or the Alienware m17 R4 are recommended With the Aorus 17G, Gigabyte delivers a well-rounded gaming laptop. However, the device generates a high noise level. Throttling is not an issue. The CPU and GPU can develop their performance uniformly. Nevertheless, the device produces a lot of noise under load - more than many competitors."

Nikolay Palaozov | December 2023
"The HP 250 G10 is a decent budget device that surprises us with its high CPU frequencies under load. Still, our configuration has a Core i5-1335U which doesn’t require significant cooling, if choose a 28W P-series processor, maybe the situation with the clocks could be different. If you want to play some casual game after work, a memory in dual-channel is a must because it increases greatly the iGPU performance."
