If high performance for tasks like 3D rendering, machine learning, or gaming is important to you, the Gigabyte Aero 5 with its more advanced graphics card would be a better choice despite its higher price. On the other hand, the HP Envy 17 offers a larger screen and is more affordable but has less powerful graphics, making it suitable for general use or less intensive engineering tasks. The Gigabyte Aero 5 also has a better build quality and higher-resolution OLED screen, which can be important for creative professionals who need accurate color representation. Consider battery life and portability as well; laptops with more powerful components usually have shorter battery lifespans and are heavier, which could affect convenience for on-the-go usage. The Tech Revolutionist

Zhi Cheng | May 2022
"It is unfortunate that the Gigabyte AERO notebook series have seem to lost its charm, as it’s not exactly any much different from the AORUS series now. Regardless, content creators and designers will certainly still appreciate the features on the AERO 5 XE4, which are fundamental to their work. This largely revolved around the notebook’s display, which is colour calibrated and validated, high resolution (4K) and with great AMOLED colour representation. Now that the AERO 5 XE4 has improved its performance with the latest CPU and GPU, the professionals can also appreciate the improved productivity from the notebook."

NotebookCheck

Marcus Schwarten | April 2023
"In our test, the HP Envy 17-cr0079ng presents itself as a balanced multimedia laptop. Thanks to its solid CPU performance and dedicated entry-level GeForce, it can also be used for playing video games, as long as the demands aren't too high. Those looking for more can find it in the Dell XPS 17 for example."
