The Gigabyte Aero 5 offers excellent color accuracy and an OLED display, ideal for creative work like photo and video editing, although it's less suitable for fast-paced games due to its lower refresh rate. Meanwhile, the Gigabyte Aorus 15X, with a higher-powered main processor and advanced GPU, is tailored for intensive gaming and demanding engineering applications but has a lower resolution IPS screen. Both models have ample storage and memory, with the Aorus 15X slightly edging out in overall performance and battery life. Portability is slightly better for the Aero 5, as it's lighter. If budget permits, prioritize the Aorus 15X for high-end gaming or engineering tasks, otherwise, the Aero 5 is a solid choice for general use and creative tasks. Give Feedback

The Gigabyte Aorus 15X is very good for gaming and AI, while the Gigabyte Aero 5 is good.
The Gigabyte Aero 5 is exceptional for gaming and 3D tasks primarily due to its powerful Nvidia RTX 3070 Ti GPU and a high-resolution OLED screen, which ensures crisp and vibrant visuals but has a lower screen refresh rate, making it less fluid for fast-paced gaming. In contrast, the Gigabyte Aorus 15X also excels in gaming and 3D due to an even more robust Nvidia RTX 4070 GPU and a high 240Hz refresh rate IPS display, which provides smoother visual transitions crucial for high-speed gaming, although it has a lower screen resolution compared to the Aero 5.

The Gigabyte Aero 5 has a better screen than the Gigabyte Aorus 15X for general use, and engineering and design, while the Gigabyte Aorus 15X has a better screen for gaming and AI.
The Gigabyte Aero 5 stands out for general use and engineering due to its exceptional display's high resolution and brightness, offering crisp and vibrant visuals, as well as a wide color gamut that ensures accurate color reproduction essential for design work. However, for gaming and 3D applications, the Aero 5 falls short because its refresh rate isn't ideal for the fast-paced visuals these activities often require. Meanwhile, the Gigabyte Aorus 15X, with slightly lower but still commendable resolution and brightness, offers good display quality for general and engineering tasks but like the Aero 5, isn't the best choice for gaming due to a less suitable refresh rate.

How the Gigabyte Aero 5 and the Gigabyte Aorus 15X compare to other laptops
"It is unfortunate that the Gigabyte AERO notebook series have seem to lost its charm, as it’s not exactly any much different from the AORUS series now. Regardless, content creators and designers will certainly still appreciate the features on the AERO 5 XE4, which are fundamental to their work. This largely revolved around the notebook’s display, which is colour calibrated and validated, high resolution (4K) and with great AMOLED colour representation. Now that the AERO 5 XE4 has improved its performance with the latest CPU and GPU, the professionals can also appreciate the improved productivity from the notebook."
"The Gigabyte Aorus 15X is a strong showing of Raptor Lake and RTX 4000 series. While the Aorus had trouble keeping up in older games like Grand Theft Auto V, it nudged past the competition in Shadow of the Tomb Raider. It also flexed its next-generation muscle in Far Cry 6 and Borderlands 3. While we were impressed with the overall build quality and design of the Aorus 15X, the keyboard lacked good tactile feedback. The display performed well in real-world testing despite its on-paper shortcoming with brightness, but the speakers are lackluster at best."
