The Gigabyte Aero 16 is generally less expensive and has a larger, higher-resolution OLED screen which is great for rich colors and deep blacks, but it refreshes at 60 Hz and is slightly heavier, affecting portability. It also has superior storage capacity. The Razer Blade 15, on the other hand, is more expensive, lighter, and has a high-refresh-rate IPS display which is better for fast-motion scenes like gaming. However, its screen is smaller and lower in resolution, and it has less storage. The Razer offers a more portable design with a high-performance display for gaming, while the Aero 16 provides a vivid display and more storage for media professionals and general usage. The Gigabyte Aero 16, with its OLED screen and lower screen refresh rate, offers exceptional screen quality for gaming and 3D rendering but may not be as smooth for fast-paced games compared to the Razer Blade 15, which has a higher refresh rate IPS screen conducive to a more responsive gaming experience. How the Gigabyte Aero 16 and the Razer Blade 15 compare to other laptops
"The Gigabyte Aero 16 is a workstation laptop for light gaming. It's design is still muted, with a silver chassis alongside a black keyboard and trackpad that provides some contrast. The Gigabyte Aero’s full-size chiclet-style keyboard is enjoyable to type on thanks to its snappy feel and responsiveness. The 4K+ AMOLED display is good, but it could be better. It doesn’t handle true black very well and suffers from strong reflections and glare. The Gigabyte Aero excels at productivity performance and can keep up with other gaming laptops in 1080p. But it has very few ports and its refresh rate leaves a bit to be desired."
"The 2022 Blade 15 offers roughly 15 to 25 percent faster graphics performance and 20 percent faster CPU performance over last year's Core i7-11800H and RTX 3080 model. Thankfully, the system doesn't need to run noticeably louder or warmer to achieve faster results, but both power consumption and battery life take a hit. The higher consumption in particular appears to be a trend amongst many 12th gen Core laptops including the Schenker Uniwill Technology GM7AG8P or MSI Vector GP66 when compared to their previous generation counterparts. We're also glad to not see below-average CPU performance which was the case for the 10th gen Core i7-10875H model."
