The Gigabyte Aero 16 is a higher-end device with excellent screen quality suitable for color-sensitive work, with a larger, high-resolution OLED display. It boasts strong performance for engineering and 3D tasks, a substantial amount of storage, and is equipped with a higher-end GPU, which is also good for intensive gaming. However, it has a higher price, is heavier, and has shorter battery life. Conversely, the Gigabyte G5 is more affordable, lighter for better portability, and has a high refresh rate screen beneficial for fast-paced games. It provides decent general and engineering performance with a good amount of ports, but has less storage, lower screen resolution, and lower overall performance compared to the Aero 16. Give Feedback

The Gigabyte Aero 16 has a better screen than the Gigabyte G5 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
The Gigabyte Aero 16 offers a high resolution and brightness, along with a superior panel type, making it ideal for clarity and color depth in general use and engineering tasks where accurate color representation is critical. However, for gaming and 3D applications, its lower refresh rate compared to dedicated gaming laptops could lead to less fluid motion. In contrast, the Gigabyte G5 provides a balance suitable for everyday tasks and design work, but its screen might not be as vibrant or smooth for more specialized gaming or 3D modeling due to similar limitations in color range and refresh rate.

How the Gigabyte Aero 16 and the Gigabyte G5 compare to other laptops
"The Gigabyte Aero 16 is a workstation laptop for light gaming. It's design is still muted, with a silver chassis alongside a black keyboard and trackpad that provides some contrast. The Gigabyte Aero’s full-size chiclet-style keyboard is enjoyable to type on thanks to its snappy feel and responsiveness. The 4K+ AMOLED display is good, but it could be better. It doesn’t handle true black very well and suffers from strong reflections and glare. The Gigabyte Aero excels at productivity performance and can keep up with other gaming laptops in 1080p. But it has very few ports and its refresh rate leaves a bit to be desired."
"The Gigabyte G5 KE is a midrange gaming laptop that checks most boxes. Gigabyte makes good use of the Core i5-12500H and RTX 3060 Laptop GPU combo, and we find no untoward issues with overall performance. The dual-fan quad-heatpipe cooling arrangement does well to ensure that the underlying hardware doesn't throttle under load. That being said, the display is below par when compared to 2023 standards, especially when competing devices."
