The Gigabyte A5 has a better screen than the Lenovo ThinkPad T14 for gaming and AI, while the Lenovo ThinkPad T14 has a better screen for content creation, and software development.
If you prioritize sharp text and clear images for everyday tasks like browsing or document editing, both the Gigabyte A5 and Lenovo ThinkPad T14 have displays that offer sufficient brightness and resolution. For users engaged in engineering or design work, where color accuracy is crucial, both laptops fulfill those needs with panels that cover a wide color gamut, ensuring that colors are vivid and true-to-life. However, for immersive gaming or 3D rendering, neither of these laptops will be optimal as they lack high refresh rates, meaning that fast-paced visuals may not appear as smooth.

How the Gigabyte A5 and the Lenovo ThinkPad T14 compare to other laptops
"Ignoring price, the Gigabyte A5 has a hard time against the similarly fast competition. Besides the loud noise in 3D mode (performance mode), the high temperature development of the components should be mentioned on the downside. Despite the relatively thick case, the laptop gets very warm and loud under load, which does not exactly speak for the cooling system. The plastic surfaces look rather cheap and also tend to rattle. In most other disciplines - be it the input devices, the screen, the connectivity or the battery runtime - the Gigabyte laptop does not stand out from the crowd, neither positively nor negatively. However, those who primarily pay attention to the price-performance ratio will get a pretty good offer with the Gigabyte A5."
"We like a lot about this laptop. It has many ports, with the inclusion of RJ45-Ethernet as a defining feature. WWAN is upgradable for maximum flexibility and the ThinkPad has many security functions. Working with the ThinkPad input devices is a lot of fun, and Lenovo puts in a serviceable Low Power panel. The AMD Ryzen 7 Pro 7840U delivers a great performance and does not drain the battery fast. Fan noise and temperatures are nothing special, but also far away from bad. With the user replaceable keyboard, the ThinkPad T14 Gen 4 has a special feature rarely present on most modern laptops."
