The Gigabyte A5, being less expensive, may appeal if you're budget-conscious, yet it offers a robust Nvidia RTX 3060 graphics card and decent general-use performance; however, it's heavier with a shorter battery life. On the other hand, the Lenovo Legion Slim 7 is more portable due to its lighter weight and longer battery life, along with higher screen brightness and a faster main processor, which translates to better performance for intensive tasks like 3D rendering or engineering, but this comes at a higher cost. Both have the same screen size and share many features, so the decision hinges on how much you value portability and performance over price. Give Feedback

How the Gigabyte A5 and the Lenovo Legion Slim 7 15.6" compare to other laptops
"Ignoring price, the Gigabyte A5 has a hard time against the similarly fast competition. Besides the loud noise in 3D mode (performance mode), the high temperature development of the components should be mentioned on the downside. Despite the relatively thick case, the laptop gets very warm and loud under load, which does not exactly speak for the cooling system. The plastic surfaces look rather cheap and also tend to rattle. In most other disciplines - be it the input devices, the screen, the connectivity or the battery runtime - the Gigabyte laptop does not stand out from the crowd, neither positively nor negatively. However, those who primarily pay attention to the price-performance ratio will get a pretty good offer with the Gigabyte A5."
"The Lenovo Legion Slim 7 is a slim Legion notebook that is just as excellent with Nvidia & Intel. However, the Legion Slim 7i slightly sullied by lacklustre battery life. You get a slim aluminium chassis, great input devices, decent port selection, fast high-quality WQXGA display and great performance. Supporting Thunderbolt 4 is one advantage of the Intel/Nvidia model tested in this review. Moreover, this variant has slightly higher CPU performance as well as better GPU performance in certain applications (e.g. CUDA-based apps). The Lenovo Legion S7i is thin, premium and performant – but less efficient than its AMD counterpart."
