The Gigabyte A5 offers higher gaming performance with its RTX 3060, but has a shorter battery life and a smaller screen compared to the Lenovo IdeaPad 5 Pro. Conversely, the Lenovo provides a larger, sharper screen and longer battery life, useful for productivity and media, paired with an RTX 3050 which is less powerful for gaming. Both are similarly priced, so if battery life and screen quality are your priorities, go for the Lenovo, but if gaming performance is a key factor, the Gigabyte A5 is the better choice. Give Feedback

The Gigabyte A5 is good for gaming and AI, while the Lenovo IdeaPad 5 Pro is only fair.
The Gigabyte A5 is better suited for gaming and 3D tasks primarily because it has a more powerful Nvidia RTX 3060 GPU and a higher screen refresh rate of 144Hz, compared to the Lenovo IdeaPad 5 Pro's RTX 3050 GPU and 120Hz screen refresh rate. Additionally, while both laptops have a similar quality of display panel, the superior GPU in the Gigabyte A5 will allow for smoother and more detailed graphics during gameplay or 3D rendering.

How the Gigabyte A5 and the Lenovo IdeaPad 5 Pro compare to other laptops
"Ignoring price, the Gigabyte A5 has a hard time against the similarly fast competition. Besides the loud noise in 3D mode (performance mode), the high temperature development of the components should be mentioned on the downside. Despite the relatively thick case, the laptop gets very warm and loud under load, which does not exactly speak for the cooling system. The plastic surfaces look rather cheap and also tend to rattle. In most other disciplines - be it the input devices, the screen, the connectivity or the battery runtime - the Gigabyte laptop does not stand out from the crowd, neither positively nor negatively. However, those who primarily pay attention to the price-performance ratio will get a pretty good offer with the Gigabyte A5."
"The Lenovo IdeaPad 5 Pro turns out a successful all-rounder that, aside from 3D applications, always strikes a good or very good figure. This begins with the elegant metal case that isn't particularly light but fairly robust, giving a high-quality impression. The input devices are also better than those of many competitors. Both the keyboard and the touchpad are attractive and comfortable. In addition, the performance of the Ryzen 5 6600HS is easily able to keep up with the Intel competitors."
