The Gigabyte A5, with a dedicated Nvidia RTX 3060 graphics card and more RAM, delivers stronger performance for intensive gaming, 3D rendering, and machine learning tasks compared to the Lenovo IdeaPad 5 15". However, the IdeaPad 5 has a longer battery life and is lighter, making it more portable and better suited for general use on the go. If your priority is high-end graphics tasks and you're less concerned about carrying the laptop around, the Gigabyte A5 is a better choice. Conversely, if you prefer a laptop that's easier to transport and with longer battery life for everyday tasks, the IdeaPad 5 is the one to go for. Give Feedback

The Gigabyte A5 is good for gaming and AI, while the Lenovo IdeaPad 5 15" is only fair.
The Gigabyte A5 excels in gaming and 3D applications primarily due to its more powerful Nvidia RTX 3060 GPU and a higher screen refresh rate of 144 Hz, providing smoother visuals and better graphic performance compared to the Lenovo IdeaPad 5 15", which utilizes an integrated AMD Vega 8 GPU with a lower refresh rate of 60 Hz, sufficient for less demanding games and general use but not optimal for more intensive 3D tasks.

The Gigabyte A5 has a better screen than the Lenovo IdeaPad 5 15" for general use, gaming and AI, and engineering and design, while the Lenovo IdeaPad 5 15" has a better screen for content creation.
If you prioritize screen quality for activities like browsing and watching videos, the Gigabyte A5's higher resolution and brighter display will outperform the Lenovo IdeaPad 5. For engineering and design work, where color precision matters, the A5's better coverage of color gamuts will prove beneficial over the IdeaPad 5. However, for gaming and 3D applications that demand fluid motion, the lower refresh rate of both the Gigabyte A5 and Lenovo IdeaPad makes them less favorable compared to options with higher refresh rates.

How the Gigabyte A5 and the Lenovo IdeaPad 5 15" compare to other laptops
"Ignoring price, the Gigabyte A5 has a hard time against the similarly fast competition. Besides the loud noise in 3D mode (performance mode), the high temperature development of the components should be mentioned on the downside. Despite the relatively thick case, the laptop gets very warm and loud under load, which does not exactly speak for the cooling system. The plastic surfaces look rather cheap and also tend to rattle. In most other disciplines - be it the input devices, the screen, the connectivity or the battery runtime - the Gigabyte laptop does not stand out from the crowd, neither positively nor negatively. However, those who primarily pay attention to the price-performance ratio will get a pretty good offer with the Gigabyte A5."
"The Lenovo IdeaPad 5 is convincing due to its long battery life. The device scores points especially with its large battery and long battery runtimes combined with its low consumption. The CPU and GPU perform in the test as one would expect, and in line with what was familiar from the somewhat smaller 14-inch sister model, the Lenovo IdeaPad 5 14."
