The Gigabyte A5 has a better screen than the HP Dragonfly Pro 14" for gaming and AI, while the HP Dragonfly Pro 14" has a better screen for content creation, and software development.
Both the Gigabyte A5 and HP Dragonfly Pro 14" have displays that are crisp, bright, and offer a wide range of colors, making them suitable for general tasks and engineering designs where clarity and color accuracy are key. However, for gaming and 3D applications, the importance shifts towards how smooth the action looks, and unfortunately, these models may lack the high refresh rates preferred by these activities, resulting in less fluid motion on-screen. While their resolutions and panel types may be adequate, without high refresh rates, they won't satisfy users who need the most responsive visuals for fast-paced games or 3D rendering.

How the Gigabyte A5 and the HP Dragonfly Pro 14" compare to other laptops
"Ignoring price, the Gigabyte A5 has a hard time against the similarly fast competition. Besides the loud noise in 3D mode (performance mode), the high temperature development of the components should be mentioned on the downside. Despite the relatively thick case, the laptop gets very warm and loud under load, which does not exactly speak for the cooling system. The plastic surfaces look rather cheap and also tend to rattle. In most other disciplines - be it the input devices, the screen, the connectivity or the battery runtime - the Gigabyte laptop does not stand out from the crowd, neither positively nor negatively. However, those who primarily pay attention to the price-performance ratio will get a pretty good offer with the Gigabyte A5."
"I’d say that the HP Dragonfly Pro checks off most of the boxes for this freelancer. It feels nice to use, is zippy and responsive, has great speakers, and even has a relatively sane price. Although it’s an unorthodox choice to pick AMD for this kind of machine, it’s clear that when Ryzen is given a chance to shine, it can kick a lot of butt."
