The Gateway 11.6" is a budget-friendly option, ideal for simple tasks like web browsing and document editing, with lower storage and performance. Its smaller screen and light weight make it highly portable. The LG Gram 16, though more expensive, offers significantly better performance for demanding applications like 3D rendering, machine learning, and engineering work, with a larger, higher-resolution screen suitable for these tasks. It also has a longer battery life and a backlit keyboard but remains light for its size. Choose the Gateway for cost savings and basic use, or the LG Gram for advanced tasks and better display quality. Give Feedback

The LG Gram 16 has a better screen than the Gateway 11.6" for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
The Gateway's smaller size and lower resolution result in a less crisp and detailed image, making it less suitable across all uses. The LG Gram 16's larger, higher resolution display provides clear and vibrant images, beneficial for general use and engineering, where detail and color accuracy are crucial. However, its lower refresh rate holds it back for Gaming and 3D applications, where smoother motion provided by higher refresh rates is key.

"The LG Gram 16 is a lightweight device with stability issues. The LG Gram 16Z90Q with a Core i7-1260P is made with portability in mind and places less of a focus on users with high demands on performance. The compact and light chassis is particularly practical when you are on the go. The device is not only comfortably small and lightweight, it also boasts a great battery life. When connected to mains, on the other hand, the 16-inch device is rather disappointing. The standard cooling mode causes extreme volatility in terms of CPU, SSD and iGPU performance. The meager stability of the chassis may also put off some potential buyers."
