The Eluktronics RP-15 is less expensive and more portable with a smaller screen and lower weight, making it suitable for frequent travelers. It has decent battery life and is well-suited for general use and gaming. The Gigabyte Aorus 17H, on the other hand, has higher performance, making it better for intensive gaming, 3D rendering, machine learning, and engineering tasks. It also has a larger screen and greater storage capacity but is more expensive and less portable due to its larger size and heavier weight. If budget is a concern and you prefer portability, go for the RP-15, but if performance and screen size are priorities, consider the Aorus 17H. Give Feedback

The Gigabyte Aorus 17H is very good for gaming and AI, while the Eluktronics RP-15 is good.
The Eluktronics RP-15 offers a capable Nvidia RTX 4060 GPU and a high 165hz screen refresh rate which is good for smooth gaming and 3D applications, while the Gigabyte Aorus 17H steps it up with a more powerful Nvidia RTX 4080 GPU and an even higher 360hz refresh rate, enhancing responsiveness and detail in visuals which will appeal to top-end gamers and professionals working with 3D graphics. Although the RP-15 has a higher resolution display which can lead to better screen quality, the Aorus 17H's superior GPU and faster refresh rate are key for the most demanding gaming and 3D tasks.

The Eluktronics RP-15 has a better screen than the Gigabyte Aorus 17H for engineering and design, while the Gigabyte Aorus 17H has a better screen for gaming and AI, and software development.
If you prioritize a vibrant display and crisp image detail for everyday tasks and professional design work, the Eluktronics RP-15's screen, with its high resolution and wide color gamut, makes it an excellent choice, although it falls short for gaming due to its lower refresh rate. The Gigabyte Aorus 17H, while slightly less impressive in color range, still offers a satisfying visual experience for both general and engineering uses with its good resolution and brightness. Gamers who value smooth motion and rapid response may find both models lacking, as their screens do not emphasize the high refresh rates critical for fast-paced gaming action.

How the Eluktronics RP-15 and the Gigabyte Aorus 17H compare to other laptops
"To conclude, I’m genuinely impressed with Eluktronics and what they have been able to deliver with the RP-15. You see this is all about maximizing performance, cooling, and giving users the most flexible I/O, and then wrapping it into a chassis that doesn’t feel super cheap. Let’s also not forget the price point, I think they have really nailed it in that department."
"Overall though, it’s *lots of swearing* fast, seriously. For work, rendering, gaming, it doesn’t matter, this is a true weapon of performance that’s going to run rings around most high-end desktop systems. If you absolutely have to game at ultra-high refresh rates on the go (but within thinking distance of a plug socket), this is the ticket. I can’t see such an extreme being that appealing to everyone, but if you take your gaming seriously, or even professionally, there’s nothing else out there that comes close that you can still fit in your backpack and travel with."
