The Eluktronics Mech-15 G3R offers superior performance for engineering tasks and intensive gaming with its advanced cooling system and powerful Nvidia RTX 3070 Ti GPU, but at a premium price and with less battery life. It's also more portable and has a better color-accurate display, making it suitable for creative professionals. On the other hand, the Lenovo Legion Pro 5i (2024) is more budget-friendly, has a larger screen with a higher refresh rate, and provides excellent gaming and general use performance with its newer Nvidia RTX 4070 GPU. However, it's less portable due to its size and weight, and the display, while good for gaming, isn't as color-accurate for professional work. If you prioritize top-tier performance and portability for demanding tasks and are willing to pay more, the Eluktronics is the way to go. If you're looking for a more cost-effective solution with a focus on gaming and general use, the Lenovo Legion Pro 5i is a strong contender. Give Feedback

How the Eluktronics Mech-15 G3R and the Lenovo Legion Pro 5i (2024) compare to other laptops
"Everything considered, the XMG Neo 15 (Mech-15 G3R) with RTX 3070 Ti is a great gaming performer. The combination of the Ti graphics card with the new Intel 12th gen CPU is enough to go toe-to-toe, and even slightly pull ahead of the RTX 3080 in most titles, though on games with Ray-Tracing enabled, particularly with graphics set to the maximum and on higher resolutions, the additional VRAM of the RTX 3080 makes a big impact, and the 8GB RTX 3070 Ti machine simply can’t compete, even with the more powerful processor."
"The midpriced Lenovo Legion Pro 5i Gen 8 follows some of our favorite gaming machines, including last year's model and the higher-end Legion Pro 7i Gen 8 tested earlier this year. But pedigree doesn't count for much in the computer world, and gaming laptops require a certain level of power and graphics performance to justify their prices. The Pro 5i Gen 8 just doesn't do that, offering middling CPU and GPU performance rather than the sort of muscle that would make it a great value."
