For a balance of performance and portability with a unique dual-screen design for multitasking, the ASUS Zenbook Duo is a strong choice, especially if you value a touchscreen and versatility for general use and light engineering tasks. However, if you prioritize gaming, 3D rendering, or machine learning, the Lenovo Legion Pro 5i offers superior performance with its dedicated Nvidia RTX 4070 GPU, making it more suitable for intensive graphics tasks despite its heavier build and shorter battery life. The Legion's higher contrast ratio and faster refresh rate also cater to a better gaming experience, while the Zenbook Duo's higher PPI and broader DCI-P3 color gamut are advantages for creative work and general visual quality. Consider your primary use case and whether the portability and unique features of the Zenbook Duo outweigh the raw performance benefits of the Legion Pro 5i. Give Feedback

How the ASUS Zenbook Duo (2024) and the Lenovo Legion Pro 5i (2024) compare to other laptops
"The Asus ZenBook Duo's second screen is like the Apple Touch Bar, but better. Most would agree that having two screens instead of one can really boost productivity and the ZenBook Duo is no different in this regard. It's tough going back to just one screen after becoming accustomed to spacious dual-screen setups. For a laptop form factor, however, users will have to accept some compromises. Firstly, weight is the most obvious drawback as the system is several hundred grams heavier than a regular ZenBook 14. Additionally, colors on the second screen will not be as vivid as the main display."
"The midpriced Lenovo Legion Pro 5i Gen 8 follows some of our favorite gaming machines, including last year's model and the higher-end Legion Pro 7i Gen 8 tested earlier this year. But pedigree doesn't count for much in the computer world, and gaming laptops require a certain level of power and graphics performance to justify their prices. The Pro 5i Gen 8 just doesn't do that, offering middling CPU and GPU performance rather than the sort of muscle that would make it a great value."
