For intensive tasks like engineering simulations, 3D modeling, or machine learning, the Dell XPS 13 Plus with its high-performance processor and better graphics is a smart choice despite its higher price. However, it may not be as portable as other options due to its smaller screen. On the other hand, if you seek cost-effectiveness and a larger screen for easier viewing and general use, the Lenovo V15 may serve well, but it might struggle with demanding applications due to lower performance hardware. The Dell also typically offers a brighter, higher resolution screen that enhances visual experiences, but at the expense of battery life compared to the simpler display on the Lenovo. The Lenovo also might be slightly bulkier, which can be a deciding factor if you travel often and need better portability. Give Feedback

The Dell XPS 13 Plus has a better screen than the Lenovo V15 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
The Dell XPS 13 Plus boasts a vibrant display with high resolution and brightness, making text and images crisp and easy to see for everyday tasks, while its wide color gamut delivers precise hues for professional design work but falls short for gaming due to its standard refresh rate. The Lenovo V15's screen has lower resolution and brightness leading to a less sharp and dimmer viewing experience, unsuitable for both general and professional use, and its standard refresh rate and color range do not match the demands of 3D applications. For a balance between usability and cost, the Dell XPS 13 Plus excels in general and professional scenarios with some limitations for gaming, whereas the Lenovo V15 is best suited for budget-conscious users with basic display needs.

How the Dell XPS 13 Plus and the Lenovo V15 compare to other laptops
"The XPS 13 Plus is powerful, but has its drawbacks. Dell did not only update the processor generation, but also decided to offer two completely different models from now on. The XPS 13 Plus gets the faster Intel Alder Lake-P chips, and the Core i7-1260P in our review unit offers good performance figures. However, the device once again shows the problems of the current Intel CPUs, because the high performance requires a lot of power. This affects the battery runtime as well as temperatures, so the new model (even with the Optimized power profile) is louder than the older model."
"The strengths of the Lenovo V15 G2 AMD lie in its expandability of the RAM and allowing you to use two SSDs, in its performance that goes beyond everyday applications thanks to AMD's hexa-core CPU and Vega-7 iGPU, in its good keyboard, and its relatively robust case. In addition, the battery life of the office laptop is also acceptable, and the device stays cool and relatively quiet."
