When choosing between the Dell XPS 13 Plus and the Gateway 11.6", consider that the Dell offers higher storage capacity, more RAM for multitasking, and a more powerful processor for complex tasks like engineering, 3D rendering, or machine learning work. It also features a superior OLED display with higher resolution, touch capability, and better color accuracy, making it well-suited for tasks that require high-quality visuals. However, it comes at a higher price and is less portable due to a slightly heavier build. On the other hand, the Gateway is more budget-friendly and light, making it highly portable. It's suited for basic tasks with its moderate storage, lower RAM, and less powerful processor. Its IPS display is not as high-end as the Dell's. Battery life tends to be longer with the Dell, a significant factor for on-the-go use. If budget permits and performance is a priority, the Dell XPS 13 Plus is the better option; otherwise, the Gateway caters to basic usage and prioritize cost savings and portability. Give Feedback

"The XPS 13 Plus is powerful, but has its drawbacks. Dell did not only update the processor generation, but also decided to offer two completely different models from now on. The XPS 13 Plus gets the faster Intel Alder Lake-P chips, and the Core i7-1260P in our review unit offers good performance figures. However, the device once again shows the problems of the current Intel CPUs, because the high performance requires a lot of power. This affects the battery runtime as well as temperatures, so the new model (even with the Optimized power profile) is louder than the older model."
