If you prioritize portability and longer battery life, the Dell XPS 13 is more lightweight and offers a longer typical usage away from power sources. For heavier tasks like 3D rendering, machine learning, or gaming, the MSI Stealth GS77, with its more powerful processor and graphics card, is better suited, but it's heavier and has a shorter battery life. The Dell is less expensive, making it a smart choice for general use without breaking the bank, whereas the MSI, with its higher cost, caters to professionals and gamers seeking top-notch performance. The Verge

Monica Chen | April 2023
"In the past, the XPS 13 was a hands-down contender for the best laptop on the market. But the Apple-silicon MacBook has since barrelled onto the scene, and it wipes the floor with most of the ultraportable Windows laptops that cross my desk on a daily basis. This XPS is no exception. Compared to the M2 MacBook Air, battery life is worse."

NotebookCheck

Allen Ngo | April 2022
"The MSI Stealth GS77 is better than the GS76... mostly. The GS77 is a few steps forward and a few steps back from the GS76. Improvements are numerous including the stronger and more rigid skeleton, higher resolution webcam, larger clickpad, easier serviceability, relatively similar battery runtimes, newer display options, and higher performance at about the same TDP and TGP levels as before. CPU performance is better than expected even when compared to other laptops with Core i7 or Core i9 processors. The newer model feels more substantial than the outgoing one for higher quality impressions as well."
