If you're looking for a more budget-friendly option for everyday tasks like browsing, office work, and light multimedia usage, the Dell Latitude might suit your needs with its affordability and solid build for general use. However, if you demand top-notch performance for tasks like 3D modeling, machine learning applications, or high-end gaming, the Gigabyte Aero 17, despite its higher price, offers powerful hardware capable of handling those demanding tasks, along with a larger, higher-quality display. The tradeoff here is that the Aero is heavier and typically has less battery life, affecting portability for on-the-go use. Give Feedback

LaptopMag

Henry T. Casey | April 2018
"The Dell Latitude 7490's got the speed you need (and then some), a keyboard that's comfortable enough for writing all day long and a battery that supports a full 8-hour workday. If only the display were brighter and it managed heat better. If you need every minute of battery life you can get, the extended-battery version of the Lenovo ThinkPad T480 lasts 8 hours longer than the Latitude 7490, but its display is much less colorful."

NotebookCheck

Mike Wobker | May 2021
"Not only is the Aero 17 a very good laptop for gamers but also for content creators. With the upgrade to the Intel Core i9-11980HK, Gigabyte particularly improved the system performance. In addition, the hardware package is rounded by the extremely fast SSD and 32 GB of working memory in dual-channel mode. Compared to the predecessor, the battery life is reduced only moderately, and the 4K display also basically keeps its good qualities."
