The Dell Inspiron 16 5635 generally comes at a lower price, is lighter, and has good battery life, making it suitable for general use and moderately intensive tasks. It has a decent screen but less powerful graphics capabilities, so it's not ideal for high-end gaming or advanced engineering work. On the other hand, the Gigabyte Aero 16 is pricier with a high-quality OLED screen, more powerful Intel processor, and superior Nvidia graphics suitable for gaming, 3D rendering, and engineering software, but this comes with a heavier build and a bigger power brick, impacting portability. Its battery life, while decent, may not match the Dell for less demanding tasks. Give Feedback

The Gigabyte Aero 16 has a better screen than the Dell Inspiron 16 5635 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, and software development.
When advising on the Dell Inspiron 16 5635 and the Gigabyte Aero 16, it's essential to note the following: the Dell has a fair screen that is adequate for everyday tasks, but its resolution and brightness may not stand out, while the Gigabyte Aero's superior resolution and brightness provide crisp and vivid visuals suitable for most users. For engineering and design professionals, the Gigabyte Aero surpasses the Dell due to its wider color gamuts, ensuring more accurate color reproduction which is crucial for detail-oriented work. However, for gaming and 3D applications, both laptops may fall short due to their lower refresh rates, which can hinder the smoothness and responsiveness during fast-paced scenarios, even though the Gigabyte's better resolution can offer sharper images.

How the Dell Inspiron 16 5635 and the Gigabyte Aero 16 compare to other laptops
"Compared to the previous year’s Inspiron, Dell upgraded the screen aspect ratio on this generation, but also transitioned to a more minimalistic centered keyboard flanked by up-firing speakers. The 16-inch screen is huge plus and I really appreciate the extra real estate without sacrificing the footprint much. This year’s model is a little larger than last, though, as the former model was already very small for a 15 incher."
"The Gigabyte Aero 16 is a workstation laptop for light gaming. It's design is still muted, with a silver chassis alongside a black keyboard and trackpad that provides some contrast. The Gigabyte Aero’s full-size chiclet-style keyboard is enjoyable to type on thanks to its snappy feel and responsiveness. The 4K+ AMOLED display is good, but it could be better. It doesn’t handle true black very well and suffers from strong reflections and glare. The Gigabyte Aero excels at productivity performance and can keep up with other gaming laptops in 1080p. But it has very few ports and its refresh rate leaves a bit to be desired."
