The Dell Inspiron 16 5625 is significantly less expensive and offers portability with its lighter weight and longer battery life, suitable for general use and it comes with a touchscreen. On the other hand, the Lenovo Legion 5 Pro, while more expensive, delivers superior performance with a better processor and GPU, making it ideal for 3D rendering, machine learning, intensive gaming, and engineering tasks. The Legion also has a higher screen resolution and refresh rate, but it is heavier and has a shorter battery life, making it less portable. If budget and portability are your main concerns, the Dell may suit you, but for high-performance computing needs, the Lenovo is the better choice. Give Feedback

The Lenovo Legion Pro 5 is very good for gaming and AI, while the Dell Inspiron 16 5625 is only fair.
The Dell Inspiron 16 5625 has lower gaming and 3D capabilities partly because it uses an integrated GPU and has a standard 60Hz screen refresh rate, whereas the Lenovo Legion Pro 5 excels in these areas with its dedicated Nvidia RTX 4070 graphics card and a much higher 165Hz refresh rate, offering smoother visuals and better handling of demanding tasks.

The Lenovo Legion Pro 5 has a better screen than the Dell Inspiron 16 5625 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, and software development.
The Dell Inspiron's screen, suitable for general tasks, might lack the color range and crispness professionals need for precise engineering work and the high refresh rate desired for smooth gaming or 3D applications. On the other hand, the Lenovo Legion Pro 5 offers a vibrant and sharp display that caters to engineering and design needs due to its wider color gamut, but like the Dell, it falls short for gaming and 3D due to a lower refresh rate. Therefore, if you prioritize display quality for professional creative work, the Lenovo is the better option, while the Dell can suffice for everyday use but may not satisfy specialized demands.

How the Dell Inspiron 16 5625 and the Lenovo Legion Pro 5 compare to other laptops
"I think there is fair value in the Inspiron 16 this year. Very little has changed with the laptop and my opinion hasn’t really changed either. In other words, I like it. Overall, I think the pros far outweigh the cons of this laptop and the price is certainly justifiable. I found this to be a great typer and I could potentially work all day on this machine, provided I don’t need a graphics card."
"It doesn't quite match its Legion Pro 7i sibling as an Editors' Choice winner, but Lenovo's AMD-powered Legion Pro 5 Gen 8 is a stylish, well-built gaming laptop with solid performance at both 1080p and its sharper native resolution. It's cheaper than some comparably equipped machines and better than some similarly priced ones. That's a recipe for success, even without its frequent availability of discounts or sales. A brighter screen and longer battery life would be nice, but even as is the Legion Pro 5 earns a solid recommendation."
