The Dell Inspiron 16 5625 typically commands a higher price for its larger screen, better performance, and higher storage and memory, which makes it suitable for intensive engineering tasks or multitasking. On the other hand, the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 14" is more budget-friendly with a smaller screen and lesser performance, but weighs less, making it a good fit for general use and portability. So, if your focus is on performance for more demanding applications, the Dell might be the better option, albeit at a higher cost. However, if you prioritize saving money and need a laptop for everyday tasks with greater ease of transportation, the Lenovo would be a suitable choice. Give Feedback

The Dell Inspiron 16 5625 is only fair for gaming and AI, while the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 14" is poor.
The Dell Inspiron 16 5625 is fair for gaming and 3D because it has a mid-range AMD Ryzen 7 CPU with Vega 8 graphics, which offers moderate performance, and an IPS screen with decent resolution, although its refresh rate is standard. In contrast, the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 14" is rated poor for gaming and 3D because it has a lower-end Intel Celeron CPU with very basic integrated graphics and a lower-quality TN screen with a lower resolution, both of which significantly limit gaming and graphical capabilities.

The Dell Inspiron 16 5625 has a better screen than the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 14" for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
The Dell Inspiron's fair screen quality in general use comes from its decent resolution and brightness, but it might not be as vibrant due to average panel technology. For engineering and design work, this laptop's display offers adequate color coverage, which is useful for precision but not top-tier for professional color work. In contrast, its gaming and 3D performance are limited by a lower refresh rate, making it less suitable for fast-paced visuals despite its reasonable resolution and panel type.

"I think there is fair value in the Inspiron 16 this year. Very little has changed with the laptop and my opinion hasn’t really changed either. In other words, I like it. Overall, I think the pros far outweigh the cons of this laptop and the price is certainly justifiable. I found this to be a great typer and I could potentially work all day on this machine, provided I don’t need a graphics card."
"The IdeaPad 1 14 is a simple machine, but it’s well-designed and has nearly everything you’d expect from a no-nonsense laptop that allows you to check emails and get schoolwork or other light tasks done with relative ease. A "true" 128GB SSD (as opposed to an eMMC drive) and a roomy 14-inch full HD display are arguably the star attractions, with the comfortable keyboard and reasonably modern styling playing important backup roles."
