The Dell Inspiron 16 5625 offers a larger screen, more storage, and a more powerful processor, suitable for demanding tasks and multitasking, which makes it preferable for general use, 3D rendering, machine learning, and engineering needs. However, it is typically more expensive and less portable compared to the Gateway 11.6", which has a smaller screen and less power, suitable for basic tasks like web browsing and document editing at a budget price. If portability and cost savings are priorities, the Gateway may suit your needs, while the Dell is better for a broader range of more demanding uses. Give Feedback

The Dell Inspiron 16 5625 is only fair for gaming and AI, while the Gateway 11.6" is poor.
The Dell Inspiron 16 5625 offers fair gaming and 3D capabilities due to its more capable AMD Ryzen 7 5825U Vega 8 GPU and a larger screen with a standard refresh rate, making it suitable for casual gaming and 3D applications. In contrast, the Gateway 11.6" falls short for gaming and 3D tasks primarily because it is equipped with a less powerful Intel UHD Graphics 600 GPU and a smaller screen, which limits visual detail and immersion.

The Dell Inspiron 16 5625 has a better screen than the Gateway 11.6" for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
The Dell Inspiron 16 5625 offers a decent balance between resolution and brightness, making it suitable for daily tasks like browsing and video streaming, but its limited color gamut and standard refresh rate don't meet the high standards required for engineering applications and smooth gaming experiences. The Gateway 11.6" falls short across the board with its lower resolution and reduced brightness, which results in a less than ideal viewing experience for any purpose, and its color range and refresh rate aren't sufficient for professional creative work or enjoying fast-paced games. For users needing accurate color representation for engineering and design, neither laptop is ideal, but the Dell provides a more acceptable general use experience, whereas the Gateway, with its smaller screen and lower specs, is more suitable for very basic tasks.

"I think there is fair value in the Inspiron 16 this year. Very little has changed with the laptop and my opinion hasn’t really changed either. In other words, I like it. Overall, I think the pros far outweigh the cons of this laptop and the price is certainly justifiable. I found this to be a great typer and I could potentially work all day on this machine, provided I don’t need a graphics card."
