The Inspiron is a budget-friendly option suitable for everyday tasks; it's lighter, so better for carrying around but may lag in demanding applications. The Aorus is a high-performance machine, ideal for gaming or intensive software; its larger screen enhances visual work, but it's heavier and more expensive. The Inspiron is for casual use or if budget is a key factor, while the Aorus should be considered if you prioritize power and performance and don't mind the extra cost and reduced portability. The Gigabyte Aorus 17H is very good for gaming and AI, while the Dell Inspiron 15 3530 is only fair.
The Dell Inspiron 15 3530, while serviceable for light gaming and basic 3D work, is limited by its graphics processing unit (GPU) and screen refresh rate when compared to the Gigabyte Aorus 17H, which excels in these areas, providing a smoother and more immersive experience ideal for intense gaming and complex 3D applications. Additionally, although the CPU and screen quality of both laptops contribute to their performance and visual output, the superior GPU and higher refresh rate of the Aorus 17H give it a significant edge for demanding tasks.

The Gigabyte Aorus 17H has a better screen than the Dell Inspiron 15 3530 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
When considering general use, the Gigabyte Aorus 17H's higher resolution and brighter display offer clearer and more vibrant visuals compared to the Dell Inspiron 15 3530, which has a more basic screen quality that's adequate for everyday tasks. For engineering and design, where accurate color reproduction is crucial, the Aorus 17H boasts superior color coverage in vital color gamuts, enhancing precision in color work, while the Inspiron offers only sufficient color accuracy. However, while both fall short for gaming and 3D applications due to low refresh rates, the higher resolution and panel quality of the Aorus 17H would still be less optimal than displays designed specifically for this purpose.

How the Dell Inspiron 15 3530 and the Gigabyte Aorus 17H compare to other laptops
"Overall though, it’s *lots of swearing* fast, seriously. For work, rendering, gaming, it doesn’t matter, this is a true weapon of performance that’s going to run rings around most high-end desktop systems. If you absolutely have to game at ultra-high refresh rates on the go (but within thinking distance of a plug socket), this is the ticket. I can’t see such an extreme being that appealing to everyone, but if you take your gaming seriously, or even professionally, there’s nothing else out there that comes close that you can still fit in your backpack and travel with."
