If you’re on a budget and mainly use your laptop for everyday tasks like browsing the internet, working on documents, or streaming videos, the Dell Inspiron 15 3511 offers a good balance of affordability and function. It's also lighter, which makes it more portable. On the other hand, if you require a laptop for more demanding applications like 3D modeling, machine learning, or gaming, the Eluktronics RP-15, while more expensive, provides significantly higher performance, but with reduced portability and likely a shorter battery life due to its more powerful components. Consider how you plan to use the laptop and whether performance or cost is your main concern. Give Feedback

The Eluktronics RP-15 is very good for engineering and design, while the Dell Inspiron 15 3511 is good.
The Dell Inspiron 15 3511, with a capable Intel i5 CPU and integrated graphics, offers a solid choice for engineering tasks, complemented by a good amount of RAM and a full HD screen. However, the Eluktronics RP-15 boasts a more powerful AMD Ryzen 7 CPU and high-end Nvidia graphics, a higher-resolution display, and greater screen refresh rate, making it very good for more demanding engineering and design applications, although it's slightly less portable and heavier.

The Eluktronics RP-15 has a better screen than the Dell Inspiron 15 3511 for general use, gaming and AI, and engineering and design.
For general use, the Dell Inspiron 15 3511's screen may not be as sharp or bright, affecting clarity and visibility, whereas the Eluktronics RP-15 offers a vibrant and sharper display, which enhances everyday tasks like browsing and watching videos. When it comes to engineering and design, the Eluktronics RP-15 likely has a wider color range, which helps professionals accurately view and edit their work, a feature the Dell model does not offer. However, for gaming and 3D applications, despite their high-quality displays in other areas, both laptops may fall short due to lower refresh rates, leading to less fluid motion and responsiveness during fast-paced scenes.

How the Dell Inspiron 15 3511 and the Eluktronics RP-15 compare to other laptops
"The Dell Inspiron 15 3000 (3511) is a solid, if unremarkable, 15-inch budget laptop. It improves on many of the issues we had with the previous 3505 model, and with the inclusion of Windows 11, the 3511 is already a step above its competition. The lack of a USB-C port, the subpar speakers, and the dim display are drawbacks to factor in, but it's still one of the better 15-inch budget laptops on the market, especially when you consider it's under $400."
"To conclude, I’m genuinely impressed with Eluktronics and what they have been able to deliver with the RP-15. You see this is all about maximizing performance, cooling, and giving users the most flexible I/O, and then wrapping it into a chassis that doesn’t feel super cheap. Let’s also not forget the price point, I think they have really nailed it in that department."
