Choosing between the Dell Inspiron 14 Plus and the LG Gram 17 depends on your priorities. If portability is crucial and you prefer a smaller, lighter option with a slightly longer battery life, the LG Gram 17 is the better choice despite being more expensive, and it's equipped with a larger screen which is great for multitasking. However, the Dell Inspiron 14 Plus is more suited for general use and performs better for engineering tasks. It's also less expensive but heavier, with a shorter battery life than the LG Gram 17. Both have similar graphics capabilities, making them not ideal for intensive gaming but capable for moderate 3D and machine learning tasks. Give Feedback

Allen Ngo | August 2022
"The Dell Inspiron 14 Plus is for power users on a budget. If you're looking to maximize CPU and GPU performance on your next 14-inch laptop, then consider the pricier Razer Blade 14 or Asus Zephyrus G14. If you're looking for a thin-and-light 14-inch Ultrabook, then the Asus Zenbook 14 or LG Gram 14 may be better options. For the best of both worlds, however, the Dell Inspiron 14 Plus 7420 rides a fine line between extreme performance and portability while keeping prices at reasonable levels. Frequent travelers who rely on performance beyond what the Core U-series and integrated graphics series can offer will find the Dell to be a solid solution."

"The LG Gram 17 is a light office laptop with a large display and great battery life. The newest incarnation of the Gram 17 can be classified as a model update. LG uses the predecessor's compact, light magnesium case along with an identical port configuration (including 2x Thunderbolt 4) and keyboard. Changes can be found in the hardware. With the Gram 17 (2022), LG offers a light (approx. 1,350 g), mobile work device - and finally with a matte display."
