If you're prioritizing high-end gaming or demanding tasks like video editing and 3D rendering, the Dell Alienware m16 R2 would suit you, albeit at a higher cost and with less battery longevity. Conversely, if your activities mainly include web browsing, document editing, and other everyday tasks, the Dell Inspiron 15 3520 is more affordable and offers longer battery life, though it's not designed for heavy-duty applications and offers less powerful performance. It's also more portable and better for day-to-day commuting. Give Feedback

LaptopMag

Momo Tabari | January 2024
"Alienware’s m16 R2 is a solid gaming laptop that leaves much to be desired, particularly in its quest to fulfill your needs as a product for productivity. Battery life under eight hours and a dim display are both vital issues for something that will accompany you through school projects or a workday. However, the Alienware m16 R2 is an exceedingly powerful gaming laptop, consistently being one of the best in our performance tests when compared against similar products. Even then, its display is lacking color, its fans get pretty darn loud, and its speakers aren’t punchy enough to rise above that noise."

PCMag

Mark Knapp | January 2023
"Dell's Inspiron 15 (3525) is a peppy-enough and affordable-enough home or remote work machine, but it's not very ambitious; it does little to go beyond the basics. More the concern: It’s readily overshadowed by a number of machines that outperform and outclass it. Even if the Inspiron can get the job done today, its competition has the mettle to keep doing the job tomorrow in a way the Inspiron simply can’t promise. Plus, those alternatives are much more enjoyable after work."
