If high performance is crucial, especially for tasks like 3D rendering, machine learning, or intensive engineering software, the ASUS ZenBook Pro Duo 15 stands out with its top-tier processor and graphics card, along with a high-resolution OLED touchscreen, exceptional color accuracy, and ample storage and memory. It's better suited for professional creative work but comes at a higher price, is heavier, and offers lower battery life. The MSI Pulse GL66, while less expensive and offering better battery life, has a lesser processor and graphics card power, lower screen resolution and color accuracy, and half the storage and memory, but it's lighter and features a higher screen refresh rate advantageous for gaming. The ASUS ZenBook Pro Duo 15 is very good for general use, while the MSI Pulse GL66 is good.
The ASUS ZenBook Pro Duo 15 excels in general use due to its powerful CPU, abundant RAM, and a high-quality OLED touch screen, making it capable for a wide range of tasks; however, it is less portable and has shorter battery life. In contrast, the MSI Pulse GL66 offers a good balance with a capable CPU, sufficient RAM for everyday tasks, a quality IPS screen and better portability, but screen quality and battery life don't match the ASUS, making it better for users prioritizing mobility over top-tier visuals and extended unplugged usage.

The ASUS ZenBook Pro Duo 15 is excellent for engineering and design, while the MSI Pulse GL66 is good.
The ASUS ZenBook Pro Duo 15 is favored for engineering and design due to its superior CPU (Intel i9), double the RAM, and a higher tier GPU (RTX 3070 Ti), coupled with a screen that offers full sRGB color coverage, making it ideal for precision work. Although the MSI Pulse GL66 also has a good CPU (Intel i7) and GPU (RTX 3070), less RAM and poorer screen quality relative to the ASUS make it a less optimal but still competent choice for engineering tasks.

The ASUS Zenbook Pro Duo 15 has a better screen than the MSI Pulse GL66 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
The ASUS ZenBook Pro Duo 15 offers vibrant and precise colors along with high resolution and brightness, making it an excellent choice for general use and particularly well-suited for engineering and design tasks where color accuracy is crucial. However, its refresh rate is lower, which isn't ideal for gaming or 3D applications where smooth motion is key. In contrast, the MSI Pulse GL66 has moderate screen quality across the board, which means it's adequate for general use and engineering tasks, but like the ASUS, it may not provide the best experience for gaming or 3D due to a less-than-optimal refresh rate.

"Benchmarks aside, the Asus ZenBook Pro Duo is hard to compare with other PCs. Its closest competition may be a multi-monitor desktop, or a laptop with an attached travel monitor. The Pro Duo is more portable and versatile than either of those options, especially with the software tools Asus has thrown on top. For a certain niche of artists, media creators, and gamers, all that might add up to something special, even if it’s unattainable for the rest of us."
"The MSI Pulse GL66 has a lot of potential for improvement. Although the RTX 3060 is only able to use 105 watts, we still liked the gaming performance, particularly since this also makes the Pulse comfortably efficient but not slow by any means. Neither the dark display with its lame response times, nor USB 2.0 or the lack of Thunderbolt will please real gamers. The use of a sticker factory seal, which is at least questionable, also won't inspire any enthusiasm. It is obvious that the laptop is really designed for price-conscious gamers."
