Choosing between the ASUS Zenbook Pro 17 and the Gigabyte Aero 16 depends on your needs and preferences. If a larger screen, superior battery life, and a tad more power for engineering tasks are important to you, and you don't mind a slightly heavier and bulkier laptop with a less vibrant screen, the ASUS could be a great choice. On the other hand, the Gigabyte offers a smaller, but more striking OLED screen with higher resolution and better color accuracy, making it ideal for creative professionals who prioritize display quality and a more compact form factor. The Gigabyte also has more storage but less RAM compared to the ASUS, so if storage is a priority over multitasking ability, it might suit you better. Keep in mind, the Gigabyte's shorter battery life might require more frequent charging. Both are suitable for gaming and offer high build quality, ample ports, and updated operating systems. How the ASUS Zenbook Pro 17 and the Gigabyte Aero 16 compare to other laptops
"The Gigabyte Aero 16 is a workstation laptop for light gaming. It's design is still muted, with a silver chassis alongside a black keyboard and trackpad that provides some contrast. The Gigabyte Aero’s full-size chiclet-style keyboard is enjoyable to type on thanks to its snappy feel and responsiveness. The 4K+ AMOLED display is good, but it could be better. It doesn’t handle true black very well and suffers from strong reflections and glare. The Gigabyte Aero excels at productivity performance and can keep up with other gaming laptops in 1080p. But it has very few ports and its refresh rate leaves a bit to be desired."
