If you prioritize a high-resolution screen and better battery life for creative work like photo and video editing, the ASUS Zenbook Pro 16X is the better option with its OLED display and larger battery capacity. For more demanding tasks like gaming or 3D rendering, the MSI GP66 Leopard, while having a less impressive screen, packs a more powerful GPU which makes it more suitable, plus it costs less. However, the higher-end GPU in the MSI might result in shorter battery life. The ASUS is also more portable, while the MSI is slightly heavier especially when accounting for the weight of the power brick. Both have 16 GB of RAM with expansion options and sufficient storage, but the ASUS offers twice the storage of the MSI. Give Feedback

The ASUS Zenbook Pro 16X has a better screen than the MSI GP66 Leopard for general use, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
The ASUS Zenbook Pro 16X likely offers a high-resolution display with excellent brightness and colour accuracy, making it ideal for general use and engineering tasks where precise color representation is critical. However, its lower refresh rate may not be optimal for gaming or 3D applications, where smooth motion is a priority. Conversely, the MSI GP66 Leopard provides suitable screen quality for everyday tasks and detail-oriented work such as engineering, but similarly struggles in gaming due to an unsatisfactory refresh rate that can't deliver the fluid visuals preferred by gamers and professionals working with fast-moving graphics.

How the ASUS Zenbook Pro 16X and the MSI GP66 Leopard compare to other laptops
"The new Zenbook Pro 16X is more powerful, quieter and doesn't need to shy away from dedicated workstations and gamers. It is also comparatively compact, and our test device is the best Zenbook that we've reviewed so far. It seems equally suitable for content creators and gamers or anyone looking for a very powerful laptop that is still slim."
"The MSI GP66 Leopard is a good budget high-performance gamer. The MSI also does a lot right outside of the pure performance despite it's low price. For example, the adaptive cooling system really surprised us positively, even in Extreme Performance Mode. And the display is not a budget panel either, but at least outshines the competition in terms of brightness. Of course, you also have to accept a few compromises in this price category. These include the Leopard's poor battery runtimes and the less than optimal build quality, which is also noticeable in the more complicated maintenance."
