The ASUS ZenBook Pro 14 Duo is very good for general use, while the Gigabyte A5 is good.
The ASUS ZenBook Pro 14 Duo offers a higher resolution OLED screen which results in better image quality and has a more powerful CPU and double the RAM compared to the Gigabyte A5, enhancing its performance for general use. Although the ASUS laptop is more lightweight and has better screen quality, the Gigabyte A5 has a larger screen and additional gaming-oriented features like a dedicated NVIDIA graphics card and more capacity for upgrades, but overall, it may not be as portable or have the same level of display excellence as the ASUS.

The ASUS Zenbook Pro 14 Duo has a better screen than the Gigabyte A5 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
The ASUS ZenBook Pro 14 Duo boasts high resolution and brightness, alongside superior color accuracy which is ideal for general use and engineering tasks, but its lower refresh rate isn't optimal for 3D applications and gaming. The Gigabyte A5, while offering decent resolution and brightness for everyday tasks and sufficient color gamut for engineering and design work, also falls short in screen refresh rate, making it less than ideal for gaming and 3D content. In these cases, the tradeoff is between the ASUS's enhanced color and display capabilities for professional work and the Gigabyte's balanced but less specialized display features.

How the ASUS ZenBook Pro 14 Duo and the Gigabyte A5 compare to other laptops
"The Zenbook Pro 14 Duo OLED is a well-tuned instrument for content creators, excelling at a range of general office tasks as well as tasks that require a little more grunt like encoding and 3D rendering. The big attraction is the laptop’s dual displays. They’re the best ones we’ve used in an Asus Zenbook Duo laptop to date with a spate of year-on-year improvements that make the visuals more striking and the cross-screen integration easier than ever before."
"Ignoring price, the Gigabyte A5 has a hard time against the similarly fast competition. Besides the loud noise in 3D mode (performance mode), the high temperature development of the components should be mentioned on the downside. Despite the relatively thick case, the laptop gets very warm and loud under load, which does not exactly speak for the cooling system. The plastic surfaces look rather cheap and also tend to rattle. In most other disciplines - be it the input devices, the screen, the connectivity or the battery runtime - the Gigabyte laptop does not stand out from the crowd, neither positively nor negatively. However, those who primarily pay attention to the price-performance ratio will get a pretty good offer with the Gigabyte A5."
