The ASUS Zenbook Flip S13 is pricier and offers higher resolution touch screen display and better portability due to its lighter weight and longer battery life, making it suitable for on-the-go use and general tasks. In contrast, the MSI Pulse GL66 costs less, has a more powerful CPU and graphics card, and a higher refresh rate screen, making it better for gaming, 3D rendering, and machine learning applications, but it has shorter battery life and is heavier, which impacts portability. The MSI Pulse GL66 is good for gaming and AI, while the ASUS Zenbook Flip S13 is only fair.
The MSI Pulse GL66 is better equipped for gaming and 3D tasks than the ASUS Zenbook Flip S13 due to its Nvidia RTX 3070 graphics card which outperforms the ASUS's integrated Intel Iris Xe GPU and also offers a higher screen refresh rate at 144Hz compared to the Zenbook's 60Hz, providing smoother visual performance which is crucial in gaming. Although the Zenbook's screen quality may be high, the lower refresh rate and less powerful GPU make it less optimal for gaming and 3D applications.

The ASUS Zenbook Flip S13 has a better screen than the MSI Pulse GL66 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
The ASUS Zenbook Flip S13 excels in screen quality for general use and engineering tasks due to its high resolution and brightness, providing clear and vivid visuals, as well as wide color gamuts ensuring accurate color reproduction critical for design work. However, its lower refresh rate limits its appeal for gaming and 3D work where smooth motion is key. In contrast, the MSI Pulse GL66 offers only fair screen quality across the board, being adequate for general use and engineering but not excelling due to less impressive color accuracy and brightness, and for gaming or 3D, its screen lacks the high refresh rates that would enhance the visual experience.

How the ASUS Zenbook Flip S13 and the MSI Pulse GL66 compare to other laptops
"The Asus Zenbook S 13 Flip is an ultra-sleek 2-in-1 convertible. A gorgeous OLED screen and lightweight magnesium chassis make this convertible a traveller’s dream. Its SSD isn’t fast, but it won’t hold you back in everyday use. Its battery life also isn’t class leading, but it’s hardly off the pace. Overall, the Zenbook S 13 Flip OLED holds its head high in the premium convertible category and is a smaller alternative to the Spectre x360 13.5 and the Yoga 9i Gen 7."
"The MSI Pulse GL66 has a lot of potential for improvement. Although the RTX 3060 is only able to use 105 watts, we still liked the gaming performance, particularly since this also makes the Pulse comfortably efficient but not slow by any means. Neither the dark display with its lame response times, nor USB 2.0 or the lack of Thunderbolt will please real gamers. The use of a sticker factory seal, which is at least questionable, also won't inspire any enthusiasm. It is obvious that the laptop is really designed for price-conscious gamers."
