The ASUS Zenbook Duo has specialized features like a secondary touchscreen, making it suitable for multitasking and creative tasks, but it is heavier and has a shorter battery life. It's also generally better for fast motion on the screen. The HP EliteBook is more affordable, offers longer battery life, and is lighter, providing increased portability and comfort for long periods of use. This makes the HP a practical choice for business applications and general use. Both have similar central processing power and memory, so your decision should hinge on whether the ASUS's unique features justify its higher cost and lower battery life compared to the HP's affordability and portability. How the ASUS Zenbook Duo (2024) and the HP EliteBook 845 G9 compare to other laptops
"The Asus ZenBook Duo's second screen is like the Apple Touch Bar, but better. Most would agree that having two screens instead of one can really boost productivity and the ZenBook Duo is no different in this regard. It's tough going back to just one screen after becoming accustomed to spacious dual-screen setups. For a laptop form factor, however, users will have to accept some compromises. Firstly, weight is the most obvious drawback as the system is several hundred grams heavier than a regular ZenBook 14. Additionally, colors on the second screen will not be as vivid as the main display."
"The high-end version of the HP EliteBook 845 G9 with a Ryzen 9 PRO 6950HS, 32GB of RAM and a 1 TB SSD packs a lot of power, but is still quiet and cool enough to operate in noise-sensitive environments. Quiet, cool and drawing on a massive 40 watts from the APU at the same time, however, is not possible. The 14-incher only has a single-fan solution and it only just manages to keep an near unthrottled Ryzen 9 in check."
