The ASUS Zenbook Duo offers a unique dual-screen design, which if you prioritize multitasking, could make it the better option for you. It's more portable and has a higher refresh rate screen, but its battery life is shorter and it lacks the more powerful dedicated graphics card found in the Gigabyte Aero 16, which makes the Aero 16 better for heavy graphics work like 3D rendering, machine learning, and gaming. The Aero has a larger, higher-resolution OLED screen for superior color and contrast, and it comes with significantly more storage out of the box. Both are midrange priced, but if portability and innovative screen functionality are less of a concern and you need a laptop for intensive graphic tasks or prefer a significantly better display, the Gigabyte Aero 16 would be the advisable choice. "The Asus ZenBook Duo's second screen is like the Apple Touch Bar, but better. Most would agree that having two screens instead of one can really boost productivity and the ZenBook Duo is no different in this regard. It's tough going back to just one screen after becoming accustomed to spacious dual-screen setups. For a laptop form factor, however, users will have to accept some compromises. Firstly, weight is the most obvious drawback as the system is several hundred grams heavier than a regular ZenBook 14. Additionally, colors on the second screen will not be as vivid as the main display."

"The Gigabyte Aero 16 is a workstation laptop for light gaming. It's design is still muted, with a silver chassis alongside a black keyboard and trackpad that provides some contrast. The Gigabyte Aero’s full-size chiclet-style keyboard is enjoyable to type on thanks to its snappy feel and responsiveness. The 4K+ AMOLED display is good, but it could be better. It doesn’t handle true black very well and suffers from strong reflections and glare. The Gigabyte Aero excels at productivity performance and can keep up with other gaming laptops in 1080p. But it has very few ports and its refresh rate leaves a bit to be desired."
