The ASUS Zenbook Duo 14 and the HP Dragonfly Pro 14 are similarly priced. The Zenbook Duo has an Intel i7 processor and less RAM, potentially limiting performance for engineering tasks or intensive work compared to the Dragonfly Pro, which sports an AMD Ryzen 7 processor and more RAM. The Zenbook includes a slightly larger battery, but the Dragonfly Pro offers a slightly better display resolution. Both feature IPS touchscreens, but the HP model's screen has a higher pixel density and better brightness. The HP Dragonfly Pro 14" has a better screen than the ASUS Zenbook Duo 14 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
When considering general use, both the ASUS Zenbook Duo 14 and the HP Dragonfly Pro 14" offer displays with clear visuals and ample brightness, alongside resolutions that provide sharp and detailed images, making them suitable for everyday tasks like browsing and video streaming. For tasks such as engineering and design, they have color ranges that cover a broad spectrum, ensuring that designers and engineers see accurate colors when working on projects that require precision. However, for gaming and 3D work, the refresh rates on these laptops may not be high enough for the smoothest experience, and their resolutions and panel types, while sufficient for clarity and viewing angles, fall short of optimizing rapid motion graphics.

How the ASUS Zenbook Duo 14 and the HP Dragonfly Pro 14" compare to other laptops
"The Asus ZenBook Duo's second screen is like the Apple Touch Bar, but better. Most would agree that having two screens instead of one can really boost productivity and the ZenBook Duo is no different in this regard. It's tough going back to just one screen after becoming accustomed to spacious dual-screen setups. For a laptop form factor, however, users will have to accept some compromises. Firstly, weight is the most obvious drawback as the system is several hundred grams heavier than a regular ZenBook 14. Additionally, colors on the second screen will not be as vivid as the main display."
"I’d say that the HP Dragonfly Pro checks off most of the boxes for this freelancer. It feels nice to use, is zippy and responsive, has great speakers, and even has a relatively sane price. Although it’s an unorthodox choice to pick AMD for this kind of machine, it’s clear that when Ryzen is given a chance to shine, it can kick a lot of butt."
