The ASUS Zenbook Duo 14 is typically less expensive and is lighter with longer battery life, making it more portable and well-suited for general use and tasks like browsing and office work with the added benefit of a touchscreen. However, the Gigabyte Aorus 5, while more expensive and heavier, offers significantly better performance for 3D rendering, machine learning and engineering tasks as well as gaming, thanks to its powerful processor and high-end graphics card. Keep in mind that the battery life on the Aorus 5 is shorter, which could be a drawback if you need to work on the go without access to a power outlet. Give Feedback

The Gigabyte Aorus 5 is good for gaming and AI, while the ASUS Zenbook Duo 14 is only fair.
The Gigabyte Aorus 5 is better suited for gaming and 3D tasks thanks to its more powerful Nvidia RTX 3070 graphics card and a higher screen refresh rate, catering to fast-paced visuals. In contrast, the ASUS Zenbook Duo 14, while sufficient, has a less capable integrated Iris Xe GPU and a lower refresh rate, which may not be as smooth for gaming and 3D applications.

The Gigabyte Aorus 5 has a better screen than the ASUS Zenbook Duo 14 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
The ASUS Zenbook Duo 14 offers vibrant colors and sharp images due to its high resolution and brightness, making it suitable for everyday tasks and detailed engineering work, but its standard refresh rate makes it less optimal for 3D applications where smoother visuals are crucial. The Gigabyte Aorus 5 also provides clear and bright visuals for both general and design-focused tasks, with color accuracy that benefits professional design work, yet faces similar limitations in 3D environments due to a refresh rate that doesn't prioritize the ultra-smooth motion preferred by gamers. In both cases, while screen quality is more than adequate for productivity and creative pursuits, dedicated gamers and 3D professionals should consider models with higher refresh rates for the best experience in their demanding applications.

How the ASUS Zenbook Duo 14 and the Gigabyte Aorus 5 compare to other laptops
"The Asus ZenBook Duo's second screen is like the Apple Touch Bar, but better. Most would agree that having two screens instead of one can really boost productivity and the ZenBook Duo is no different in this regard. It's tough going back to just one screen after becoming accustomed to spacious dual-screen setups. For a laptop form factor, however, users will have to accept some compromises. Firstly, weight is the most obvious drawback as the system is several hundred grams heavier than a regular ZenBook 14. Additionally, colors on the second screen will not be as vivid as the main display."
"The Gigabyte Aorus 5 SE4 is a capable mainstream gaming notebook that will run the latest PC games with aplomb. However, it's not your stereotypical flashy gaming PC. Gigabyte has added some interesting tweaks. For example, the webcam placement and its Microsoft Azure AI tool — to automatically switch between power modes — are unusual for this genre. But more importantly, the pricing is fairly competitive and reasonable."
