The Gigabyte Aorus 5 is a premium laptop with a robust main processor and a high-performance graphics card, making it suitable for intensive gaming, 3D rendering, machine learning, and engineering tasks. Although it has a high-refresh rate screen, which is great for fast-paced games and videos, its battery life is on the shorter side, which could be a limitation for those needing to work on the go. The laptop is relatively heavy, impacting its portability, but it comes with a decent sized screen and a full keyboard including a numeric pad, which is beneficial for productivity. The Aorus 5 runs Windows 11 Home and supports a variety of ports including USB-C and HDMI but doesn't have USB-C charging. If high performance for graphically demanding tasks is a priority and portability and battery life are secondary concerns, the Aorus 5 is a strong contender. Give Feedback

Can Buy or Not

Vincent Chang | June 2022
"The Gigabyte Aorus 5 SE4 is a capable mainstream gaming notebook that will run the latest PC games with aplomb. However, it's not your stereotypical flashy gaming PC. Gigabyte has added some interesting tweaks. For example, the webcam placement and its Microsoft Azure AI tool — to automatically switch between power modes — are unusual for this genre. But more importantly, the pricing is fairly competitive and reasonable."
