When choosing between the ASUS Zenbook Duo 14 and the Framework Laptop 16 (2023), consider that the ASUS offers a unique dual-screen feature which may boost productivity, especially for multitasking, but this comes at the expense of weight and potentially battery life. The Framework, on the other hand, is designed for easy upgrades and repairs, and its larger screen provides an advantage for tasks like design or video editing, but it typically costs more. If portability and budget are your primary concerns, lean towards the ASUS, but if longevity and larger screen size matter, the Framework might be the better investment. Give Feedback

How the ASUS Zenbook Duo 14 and the Framework Laptop 16 (2023) compare to other laptops
"The Asus ZenBook Duo's second screen is like the Apple Touch Bar, but better. Most would agree that having two screens instead of one can really boost productivity and the ZenBook Duo is no different in this regard. It's tough going back to just one screen after becoming accustomed to spacious dual-screen setups. For a laptop form factor, however, users will have to accept some compromises. Firstly, weight is the most obvious drawback as the system is several hundred grams heavier than a regular ZenBook 14. Additionally, colors on the second screen will not be as vivid as the main display."
"The trend towards thinner and lighter laptops is made possible by fusing more and more components onto the mainboard. The main drawback to this approach is that it limits repairability as even a small fault may require replacing entire boards. Framework is one of the only manufacturers looking the other way in an attempt to improve end-user customization and servicing. There's no question that the Laptop 16 is more user-friendly to service than any alternative, but this lucrative feature comes at the cost of size and weight as individual components must be easily replaceable."
