If you require a laptop with higher RAM for multitasking and slightly better general performance, you may prefer the Dell Inspiron 14, which also comes with Windows 11 and is a more recent model. However, the ASUS Zenbook Duo has unique dual-screen functionality, better colors and brightness in its display, which might be appealing if you do creative work. The Zenbook also has a superior battery life and slightly better heat management which could be useful if you are often on the go. Both have similar weight and screen size, making them fairly comparable in terms of portability. Neither is ideal for intensive gaming or high-end engineering work due to their integrated graphics, but both can handle everyday tasks and lighter engineering applications. Choose the Zenbook for its displays and battery, or the Inspiron for more RAM and slightly better overall performance. Give Feedback

The ASUS Zenbook Duo 14 has a better screen than the Dell Inspiron 14 7425 for general use, gaming and AI, and engineering and design, while the Dell Inspiron 14 7425 has a better screen for content creation.
The ASUS Zenbook Duo 14 boasts high resolution and brightness, providing clear and vivid images that enhance general productivity tasks and detailed engineering work. However, for gaming and 3D applications, its standard refresh rate may not provide the smoothest experience. Conversely, the Dell Inspiron 14 7425 offers adequate resolution and brightness for everyday tasks and sufficient color accuracy for non-professional design work, but its screen characteristics, similar to the Zenbook, fall short for the high-refresh needs of immersive gaming and fluid 3D rendering.

The Dell Inspiron 14 7425 and ASUS Zenbook Duo 14 are both only fair for gaming and AI.
The ASUS Zenbook Duo 14 and the Dell Inspiron 14 7425 are considered fair for gaming and 3D because they both have integrated graphics, which are less powerful than dedicated gaming GPUs, and standard screen refresh rates which are not as high as those preferred for gaming. Their CPUs and screen quality are decent, but for more demanding gaming and 3D tasks, laptops with more powerful GPUs and higher refresh rates would provide better performance.

How the ASUS Zenbook Duo 14 and the Dell Inspiron 14 7425 compare to other laptops
"The Asus ZenBook Duo's second screen is like the Apple Touch Bar, but better. Most would agree that having two screens instead of one can really boost productivity and the ZenBook Duo is no different in this regard. It's tough going back to just one screen after becoming accustomed to spacious dual-screen setups. For a laptop form factor, however, users will have to accept some compromises. Firstly, weight is the most obvious drawback as the system is several hundred grams heavier than a regular ZenBook 14. Additionally, colors on the second screen will not be as vivid as the main display."
"Overall, this Dell Inspiron 14 2-in-1 offers a lot to like, especially at its oft-discounted price of $800. It’s a sturdy laptop with strong performance, a convertible touchscreen, loud speakers, and a convenient fingerprint reader. But the trade-offs you’ll make in pursuit of that lower price—most notably the dim display and stiff trackpad—might just keep you from outright loving it."
