The ASUS Zenbook 14X OLED is more affordable, highly portable, and offers longer battery life with an excellent screen that's suitable for general use and professional tasks involving color accuracy. Its performance is decent for general tasks but may struggle with intensive 3D, machine learning, or engineering software. In contrast, the MSI Pulse GL66, while pricier and less portable with shorter battery life, is better equipped for gaming, 3D rendering, and engineering work due to its powerful processor and dedicated graphics card. If you need top-tier performance for heavy tasks and gaming, and don't mind the extra cost and weight, the MSI is the better choice. Give Feedback

The ASUS Zenbook 14X OLED has a better screen than the MSI Pulse GL66 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
The ASUS Zenbook 14X OLED stands out for general use and engineering with its high-resolution OLED panel, delivering excellent brightness and contrast, as well as superb color accuracy essential for design work. However, its refresh rate is lower, which limits the quality of fluid motion necessary for optimal gaming and 3D experiences. The MSI Pulse GL66, while offering a fair screen for general tasks and engineering, may fall behind in color precision for professional design but maintains a balance that could be satisfactory for less color-critical tasks, yet it also lacks the higher refresh rate gamers seek for smooth visuals.

How the ASUS Zenbook 14X OLED and the MSI Pulse GL66 compare to other laptops
"While one of the more budget-friendly configurations of the Asus Zenbook 14X OLED may make a compelling case as a top value pick, it’s difficult to be disappointed with the more expensive model we reviewed here. At its core, for all models, it’s a luxury-built laptop with extreme portability and a gorgeous OLED display. Our unit rocks with a snappy Core i9 processor for getting real work done, and the discrete GPU—even if it has a clear power ceiling—is a bonus for creative pros."
"The MSI Pulse GL66 has a lot of potential for improvement. Although the RTX 3060 is only able to use 105 watts, we still liked the gaming performance, particularly since this also makes the Pulse comfortably efficient but not slow by any means. Neither the dark display with its lame response times, nor USB 2.0 or the lack of Thunderbolt will please real gamers. The use of a sticker factory seal, which is at least questionable, also won't inspire any enthusiasm. It is obvious that the laptop is really designed for price-conscious gamers."
