The ASUS Zenbook 14X OLED offers a lighter and thinner design for easy portability and an OLED screen that's bright and color-accurate, which is great for general use and media consumption. However, the Lenovo Legion 5 is equipped with a more powerful graphics card and a higher refresh-rate screen, making it better suited for gaming, 3D modeling, or machine learning applications, though it is heavier and bulkier, which may affect portability. If your priority is carrying your laptop around and enjoying media, go for the ASUS. For higher performance in demanding tasks at the expense of portability, the Lenovo is the better choice. PCMag

Matthew Buzzi | September 2023
"While one of the more budget-friendly configurations of the Asus Zenbook 14X OLED may make a compelling case as a top value pick, it’s difficult to be disappointed with the more expensive model we reviewed here. At its core, for all models, it’s a luxury-built laptop with extreme portability and a gorgeous OLED display. Our unit rocks with a snappy Core i9 processor for getting real work done, and the discrete GPU—even if it has a clear power ceiling—is a bonus for creative pros."

NotebookCheck

Andreas Osthoff | September 2021
"The Lenovo Legion 5 15 is an affordable gaming laptop with a lot of power. The new AMD processor Ryzen 7 5800H offers plenty of performance and it is also very efficient. The combination with the fast 130W version of the GeForce RTX 3060 ensures high gaming performance. We also like the fast 165 Hz display with the 1080p resolution. The automatic graphics switching causes some problems with stutters, which are very annoying. If you do not need long battery runtimes, you should definitely deactivate the hybrid graphics mode in Lenovo's Vantage app. The Legion 5 15 is never silent."
