The ASUS Zenbook 14X is less expensive and more portable, suitable for general use with decent performance and good battery life, but has less storage and a less powerful GPU compared to the Pro model. The ASUS Zenbook Pro 16X has a larger, higher-resolution touchscreen display, better performance for 3D, machine learning, and engineering tasks, and significantly longer battery life. It is however heavier and less portable, and comes at a higher price. If portability and cost are your main concerns, the 14X may suit you better, but if you need a more powerful machine for intensive tasks and can handle the extra weight and cost, the Pro 16X would be the better choice. NotebookCheck

Sebastian Jentsch | April 2022
"With the Zenbook 14X, Asus has a 14-incher in its range that is - mostly - a joy to use. First, there is the colorful OLED panel with 3K resolution that displays the sRGB and DCI-P3 color spaces. The Zenbook is also at the forefront in terms of workmanship, input devices and connections with 2x Thunderbolt 4 ports and a generous keyboard layout. A pleasure to use, the Zenbook 14X is a solid, very well-built subnotebook that sits well on the table. A runtime of five hours, however, is below average for a high-end subnotebook nowadays. The OLED screensaver causes increased power consumption when in idle mode."

NotebookCheck

Marc Herter, Alex Wätzel | November 2023
"The new Zenbook Pro 16X is more powerful, quieter and doesn't need to shy away from dedicated workstations and gamers. It is also comparatively compact, and our test device is the best Zenbook that we've reviewed so far. It seems equally suitable for content creators and gamers or anyone looking for a very powerful laptop that is still slim."
