The ASUS Zenbook 14, being less expensive, is a budget-friendly option with an OLED display which provides great visual quality and efficiency, favorable if you appreciate high-resolution screens for everyday tasks or media consumption. However, the Lenovo Legion Slim 7, although more expensive, comes with a more powerful AMD Ryzen processor and an Nvidia RTX graphics card, making it more suitable for intensive tasks like gaming, 3D rendering, or machine learning. It also has a larger screen size which makes it less portable compared to the compact ASUS Zenbook. If high performance for specialist tasks is a priority and you can stretch your budget, the Lenovo could be the way to go, but for general use and portability, the ASUS should suffice. Give Feedback

The Lenovo Legion Slim 7 15.6" and ASUS Zenbook 14 are both good for general use, though the Lenovo Legion Slim 7 15.6" is somewhat better.
The ASUS Zenbook 14, while lightweight and highly portable, offers less processing power and lower battery life compared to the Lenovo Legion Slim 7, which also features a more powerful GPU and higher RAM, making it better suited for demanding tasks and ensuring smoother general use despite being heavier and less portable. Screen quality on the ASUS Zenbook 14 is excellent with its OLED display providing vibrant colors and sharp resolution, yet the Lenovo Legion Slim 7's larger IPS screen is also of high quality and offers a faster refresh rate, which along with its superior speaker quality, makes it a more immersive option for multimedia and gaming.

The Lenovo Legion Slim 7 15.6" and ASUS Zenbook 14 are both good for engineering and design, though the Lenovo Legion Slim 7 15.6" is somewhat better.
The ASUS Zenbook 14 offers a high-quality OLED display with wide color coverage, making it ideal for design work that requires color accuracy; however, its Intel integrated graphics are less suited for highly demanding engineering simulations than dedicated GPUs. Contrastingly, the Lenovo Legion Slim 7, with its more powerful AMD processor and Nvidia RTX graphics, not only provides substantial computing power for engineering tasks but can also handle intensive gaming, though its screen has lower color accuracy and resolution compared to the Zenbook.

How the ASUS Zenbook 14 and the Lenovo Legion Slim 7 15.6" compare to other laptops
"Users who travel frequently and are looking for a portable laptop are in the right place with the Asus ZenBook 14. The sleek case is extremely light (1.2 kg) and surprisingly thin (1.5 cm). Outdoor use is also enjoyable thanks to the bright Full HD display, which is something that can rarely be said about laptops with TN or IPS panels. The excellent battery life complements this as well. Longer trips are no problem with the ZenBook 14. Another plus point is the high-performance Ryzen 7 5700U, which often leaves the Intel competition in the dust thanks to its large number of cores."
"The Lenovo Legion Slim 7 is a slim Legion notebook that is just as excellent with Nvidia & Intel. However, the Legion Slim 7i slightly sullied by lacklustre battery life. You get a slim aluminium chassis, great input devices, decent port selection, fast high-quality WQXGA display and great performance. Supporting Thunderbolt 4 is one advantage of the Intel/Nvidia model tested in this review. Moreover, this variant has slightly higher CPU performance as well as better GPU performance in certain applications (e.g. CUDA-based apps). The Lenovo Legion S7i is thin, premium and performant – but less efficient than its AMD counterpart."
