The Dell Inspiron 16 5625 and ASUS Zenbook 14 are both good for general use, though the Dell Inspiron 16 5625 is somewhat better.
The ASUS Zenbook 14, with lower RAM and storage capacity, and a smaller screen, may be less suitable for heavy multitasking and data-intensive tasks compared to the Dell Inspiron 16 5625, which offers more RAM, double the storage, and a larger screen, enhancing productivity for general use. However, the Zenbook's lighter weight and OLED screen with higher color accuracy make it more portable with a better display, but its overall performance for general tasks is more modest when compared to the Inspiron’s superior processor, heat management, and quieter operation.

How the ASUS Zenbook 14 and the Dell Inspiron 16 5625 compare to other laptops
"Users who travel frequently and are looking for a portable laptop are in the right place with the Asus ZenBook 14. The sleek case is extremely light (1.2 kg) and surprisingly thin (1.5 cm). Outdoor use is also enjoyable thanks to the bright Full HD display, which is something that can rarely be said about laptops with TN or IPS panels. The excellent battery life complements this as well. Longer trips are no problem with the ZenBook 14. Another plus point is the high-performance Ryzen 7 5700U, which often leaves the Intel competition in the dust thanks to its large number of cores."
"I think there is fair value in the Inspiron 16 this year. Very little has changed with the laptop and my opinion hasn’t really changed either. In other words, I like it. Overall, I think the pros far outweigh the cons of this laptop and the price is certainly justifiable. I found this to be a great typer and I could potentially work all day on this machine, provided I don’t need a graphics card."
